Hi all—-
Aric is taking one of his Sundays off on July 20 and we re going to do something rather different on that day. We will worship with our bodies as well as our voices. It will consist of a prayer breakfast, followed with a few hours of yard work around the church and finish with a lunch (maybe a BBQ) so we can celebrate all we have gotten done.
I have a list of projects that I am planning on having people tackle, many that go better with multiple people working on them together. I hope to have a list up next .Sunday of some of the projects I see and other people can add to the list if they feel I have missed something. Or you can sign up to do a certain project if you desire.
I would ask that people come with garden work attire and good gloves. We will also need rakes, hoes cultivators, loppers, weed whackers, etc. If you want to use electric tools please bring an extension cord as well. Electric hedge trimmers or small saws are also a good idea. I am not sure just exactly what we will need but I know the church does not have enough tools for all of us.. Make sure you have an ID on your tool just is case you wind up sharing with others..
I do not anticipate that we will get it all done, I think we can accomplish a lot together and have a good time as well. There will more in the near future about the food arrangements. I look forward to seeing what we can get done..
Carol
